Introducing Hightide Hideaway—a brand-new feature for Oak City Shredfest 2025, designed to take your festival experience to new heights! Nestled within the trees next to the FloatTrack, this suspended tree net offers the ultimate chill zone, where you can kick back, connect, and soak in the festival’s energy from a whole new perspective. Whether you’re looking for a serene escape between shred sessions or a prime spot to vibe with friends, Hightide Hideaway is the place to be.
Crafted by the Community
Built by a dozen 757 Salty Crew legends over 260 hours of dedication, Hightide Hideaway stands as a testament to what happens when passion meets purpose. Every strand of paracord in this structure can hold 550 lbs, collectively weaving a web strong enough to handle a usable load of 15,000 lbs. Anchored by eight sturdy trees, providing approximately 14,000 lbs of support, and utilizing several tree protection methods, we ensure harmony with our leafy hosts. This endeavor involved 12 volunteers contributing over 40 hours of planning, 75 hours of commuting, and four full weekends of hard work -- all to transform this dream into reality.

Tree Net Guidelines
Keep The Stoke Safe

- Keep it clean - pack in, pack out

- Children must be supervised
- Be kind, share the space, and spread the stoke
Lay back, look up, and soak it in. Hightide Hideaway was built for legends like you.

Hightide Hideaway Volunteers
Hightide Hideaway was made possible thanks to the dedication of our incredible Salty Crew volunteers. Their hard work, creativity, and passion helped bring our vision to life - whether by tying up thousands of feet of paracord or handling our camp setup and keeping us fueled. Each of their contributions, big or small, made a lasting impact that helped turn our ideas into a reality. We're grateful for their time, effort, and commitment to the community.
